AI Worth Doing: One Playbook for Operations, AI and Compliance
Program overview
Most AI projects stall for reasons that have nothing to do with the technology. The business knows the work. The AI team knows the tools. Compliance knows the limits. Nobody owns the method that brings them together.
AI Worth Doing gives all three the same playbook: five protocols and one honest Go / No-Go decision. Learners find and rank AI opportunities with data, see how the work really runs, fix it before automating, design people and AI together with controls built in, and prove the return. Sometimes the right answer is not to use AI, and the course shows you how to tell.
It starts with a free module, The AI Litmus Test: ten checks and one decision you can run on your own AI idea. Eight short modules then teach each step. Teams finish with a capstone a leader can decide on.
You'll learn how to
- Find and rank AI opportunities with data, not hunches
- Test process, data and risk readiness before spending
- Set a baseline for cost, time and errors, so the return is real
- Match each task to the right tool: rules, generative AI, an agent or a person
- Design controls and human checks in from day one
- Make an honest Go / No-Go decision, then prove the gain after launch
How the training works
- 1
Module 0 (free): The AI Litmus Test. The whole playbook on one page. Test your own AI idea with ten checks and one decision.
- 2
Module 1: Why AI Stalls. Automation, AI and agents explained, and why accurate AI still fails.
- 3
Module 2: What a Good Process Looks Like. The 7 signs of a strong process, in one shared language.
- 4
Module 3: Pick the Right Work. Find and rank AI opportunities, and test readiness.
- 5
Module 4: See the Real Work. Map the whole process and find the hidden checks.
- 6
Module 5: Set the Baseline. Measure right-first-time and predict what AI adds end to end.
- 7
Module 6: Find the Real Cause. Prove why things go wrong before buying a fix.
- 8
Module 7: Redesign for People + AI. Score each task for AI fit, build controls in and make the Go / No-Go.
- 9
Module 8: Keep It Working, Prove It. Prove the return and keep it safe and auditable.
Who should attend?
Operations, AI and technology, compliance, risk, audit and legal teams in banks and credit unions. It works best when all three sides take it together. No statistics or technical background needed.
Expected outcome: Every AI idea picked with data, tested before money is spent and proven after launch, with compliance in the design from day one.

FAQ
Common questions.
Who should take AI Worth Doing?
Everyone who touches an AI idea from start to finish: operations and business teams, AI and IT teams, and compliance, risk and audit. The value comes from all three learning the same playbook, so they design together instead of handing work off.
Is there a free module?
Yes. Module 0, The AI Litmus Test, is free. It shows the whole playbook on one page and lets you test your own AI idea against ten checks and one Go / No-Go decision.
Does the course always recommend using AI?
No. The Go / No-Go decision compares AI with the fixed process and counts the full cost of AI. Sometimes the right answer is to fix the process, use a system you already have, or leave it alone.
Do I need a technical or statistics background?
No. The course is written for complete beginners, in plain language.
