What is intelligent automation?
Intelligent automation combines robotic process automation (RPA) with AI capabilities such as OCR, machine learning and generative AI, so software can handle documents, judgement calls and unstructured data as well as repetitive keystrokes.
Why do so many automation projects fail?
Between 30 and 50% of RPA projects fail, most often because the wrong process was chosen, the process was not optimized before automation, or technology rather than the business drove the initiative.
Do we need generative AI training if we don’t use generative AI?
Yes. Staff, vendors and fraudsters already use it. Deepfake-enabled fraud and unsanctioned use of public AI tools create exposure whether or not your institution has deployed generative AI.
